LCS funded collaboration projects have been started


 A number of Latvian Council of Science collaboration projects have been started in Latvian Biomedical Research and Study centre in the beginning of 2010

Eight subprojects will be realized in BMC within the project "Genetic investigation of disease aetiology, pathogenesis and ageing processes in the Latvian population":

Project is performed in collaboration with RSU, LU and P. Stradins Clinical University Hospital.

In collaboration with LUA and BIOR, LCS collaboration project "Cell therapy for type 1 diabetes treatment: a novel approach to treat insulin deficiency" will be realized in BMC

BMC will take part  in project "Innovative approaches for the investigation of molecular genetic properties of microorganisms and mechanisms of related systemic damage, and for the development of individualised monitoring, diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases" with subproject  "Molecular epidemiology of hepatitis B anc C viruses for the development of individualised therapeutic vaccines"

Project's collaborators - RSU, ICL and P. Stradins Clinical University Hospital.
